I especially liked the detailed discussion of hiring practices. I worked for Dr. In dark and mysterious ways his suicide contributed to Daniel's own deep despair about life, especially because it had undercurrents of emerging homosexual feelings against a protestant belief system. The Empire story is carefully crafted, the characters vary from two-dimensional to fully three-dimensional, and the end of the trilogy is exhilarating.
However, reading the trilogy was not always easy. It begins as if the reader knows nothing about music, which is helpful for some, but I found boring. You won't regret it.
Thank you to Zach Whedon and company for breathing life back into some of my favorite people in the verse one more time. A very dramatic account of a harrowing experience. as a professional guitar teacher I have been using these books for years and have had fantastic results from my students ranging in age from 5 yrs old to adults.
