Shereshevsky's masterful guide to endgame play is an essential work for every aspiring player. Using classic examples from grandmaster practice, together with modern illustrations and instructive games by lesser-known players, Shereshevsky lucidly explains the basic principles of the endgame: king centralization, the role of pawns, exchanging pieces, suppressing counterplay, two weaknesses, and much more.

But what I got was a book full of hidden anti-christian overtones. It's an incredibly exciting time to be reading--or writing--and this book maps that course.. Especially since it's the only book I've seen devoted to pilates for the pregnant woman.. So start with the theoretical material, then move on to this volume after you have mastered basic endgame theory. Purchased for school. This is great, because you don't really know that you've learned anything until you actually write code yourself. Rosaforte makes Raising the Bar an easy and interesting read, by catching the golf-novice up to date. I an an ex-lawyer with considerable exposure to some student loan issues. I guess I don't read that many MC books. I feel that knowing even a generalisation of each Terrain can usher in less judgement and more compassion, especially combined with the opportunity for self-knowledge. The impressions combine to give a good picture of life in this curiously unspoiled place.
I have read 3 volume
