It explains why things work and don't work.. Leo Redmond, at the time managing the Intuit Supplies Group, and I had just finished lunch in Palo Alto. one of the office workers told us to go to Amazon.com to order one and we did for only 18.00 and its ours to keep! The book was in Great shape. I was not required to write a positive review. There is even a promotional video at "vimeo.com/68552993". His mere presence in our house adds rich value to the quality of life that my wife and I enjoy. During my research of the subject matter I've encountered many works where authors' statements were difficult to verify leaving the reader with nothing but a hope that the presented material was true. Perhaps his narrow, unappealing and unfocussed second half meanders so much because he didn't take his chances to widen his own career within MSFT as a manager or PM.
Like Adam with his interviewees, I agonized over whether or not I should give this book a "four" or a "three" star rating :). Carol
