Dr. Stephen Dantzig's tenth book is by far his most personal to date. "Get Up, Your Bus Is Here" Living MY Life With Cerebral Palsy: Trials, Tribulations and Triumphs chronicles his life growing up with Cerebral Palsy and details his successes as well as his struggles. He candidly talks about additional challenges brought on by Kienbock's Disease and the two wrist fusion surgeries that followed. Battles with obsessive-compulsive tendencies are also brought to the forefront. D
Study and test-taking tips are good. It was thinner than a pamphlet, and turns out, so was the content inside. And, this is merely the beginning. Most interesting to students or linguistic hobbyists are his explanations of cognitive semantics (e.g., his discussion of Whorf's theories and basic color terms) and connotation versus denotation. Jesus had brothers, including one named Jude, the author of the Bible book of the same name. this book is "good looking". Aoe reluctantly rescues poor Naoya from an incredibly tragic life and the romance begins.
Don't be like me and miss out on a wonderfully entertaining story just because you "judged a book by it's cover"!. After all the book also attempts to provide an introduction to Puppet and that, besides being available from Puppet Labs, takes away 10 of those pages.
It probably should have been published with the O'Reilly "Pocket Guide" series, but then the price would have been about $10. It's a quick read, but it will
