Editorial :

Each of these chapters contains practical advice for navigating relationships. i can use it but i am not really happy with it.. Simple, nutritious, cross-cultural recipes that are written lightly, as loose frameworks and templates so the cook can tweak as needed it's a simple, inspiration-stirring bunch of dishes.

The recipes are not ethnocentric -- Thai, Japanese, Moroccan, British, American, French, and Italian recipes are all represented. I have really appreciated the book for this reason. Being a very, very firm believer in raising children outdoors and NOT in front of the TV, I think this time-saving little list is a GREAT inclusion here.
In other news, Tony Angell's many drawings gracing this book do add (again, imho) an especially valuable facet to the book. I may punch holes in it and put it in the back of my 3-ring binder cookbook. What is certain is that the Practical Guide to Natural Medicines is a godsend for consumers, like me, who are looking for guidance
