The book titled "Adaptive Nonlinear System Identification: The Volterra and Wiener Model Approaches" by Tokunbo Ogunfunmi is a very good introductory book to the area of Adaptive Signal Processing in general with a focus on nonlinear adaptive signal processing.
The author begins by reviewing a lot of the fundamental ideas in linear systems theory that have been extended to the area of nonlinear systems. Sutton's tales of workers' struggles during and against The Troubles are particularly poignant and resonate still today for those of us old enough to remember those years and the turmoil contained therein. I grabbed this cookbook the first week it was available. Covers the complete process, from selecting a good restoration candidate car, to finishing the interior. .
