Fictional novella originally written in 1898 about an unsinkable passenger ship called the Titan. Close parallels to the Titanic -- both were unsinkable, both struck icebergs, both were on their maiden voyages, only one-third of the passengers on each ship survived, the elite of the time were on board both ships, and both ships were encouraged to break speed records.

B.: When this story was written, airplanes were still tiny, dangerous machines that could barely carry one man and was decades before the Germans started their "heavy water" experiments, trying to construct a nuclear device.
In addition, this future war begins in the month of December when the Japanese stage a sneak attack on Hawaii.
It appears that the author was visionary of sorts.

If you want something that is great fun to read out loud to younger children or for confident readers to read on their own, you won't find a better book than this one!. So, I struggled through to mine the nuggets (eventually, I took great notes so I would never reel like I needed to read through it again). The expert layouts were an excellent way to highlight what the writers were trying to express. There are many, many facets to this, and I cannot get into them here. I'm glad they didn't duplicate all that information. The story of 1,262 men who served in the Civil War. I highly recommend it.. Thanks much.. Charming illustrations, clever rhymes and factual but child-friendly content all come together to make this a great book for introducing children to how our country was founded. If you are seriously considering the bookselling business, this is not going to get you far at all.
